How intense the effect of geometrical-abstract painting can be, is shown by the paintings of argentinian Osvaldo Bacman.

Under the title “The Third Dimensión of Constructivism” they can be seen in the Kunstzelle, Galerie Güldner. Recurring motif in the works of Bacman is the square. Nested inside each other, each forming the frame for another inner square, they create tunnels that draw in the gaze.

The suction of the interior is intensified when the geometrical figures are joined together with wooden panels. The three-dimensional shape create a signal intensifying the effect of the perspective.

The result are reliefs that allow the contrast of harmony and irritation, and at the same time form a confrontation between the deep and the highlights.
